KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• To report to STA (Electrician) to carry out duties as assigned.
• Participate with the electrician group and other assisting personnel (fitters/laborer) in planned maintenances such as generator maintenance during engine to and complete overhaul.
• To participate in electrical routine and forced (unscheduled) maintenances on Power Station main equipment (Generators, Transformers, Compressors, Motors, Electrical Panels, Pumps, Coolers, Cables, Diesel engines, Battery and battery chargers etc).
• Actively take part in TQM activities such as 5\'S and EOSH related activities.
• To comply to Sarawak Energy\'s Mechanical and Electrical Safety Rules at all time, this also includes the Sarawak Energy Life Saving Rules. To comply to other regulation related to workplace such as FMA, OSHA etc.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Certificate/Diploma in electrical from Technical institution.
• Possess Chargeman L3 competency will be an added advantage.
• 1 year of related working experience.

SKILLS:

• Having knowledge in operation and maintenance of rotary equipment such as generators, electric motors, Transformers, Compressors, Circuit breakers, Electrical panels, Alarms, Pumps etc.
• Able to read and interpret Electrical Drawings.
• Computer literate - Words, Excel and Power Point.
• Knowledgeable in wiring, soldering, cable laying, drilling etc.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills.

SPECIAL ASPECTS/MAJOR CHALLENGES OF THE JOB:

• To perform all the tasks in line with the Information Security Management System (ISMS), Information Governance Policy Suite, and Guidelines roles & responsibilities procedure.
• To perform all tasks in line with the Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines.
