Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented fresh graduate to join our team as a technician. This role is responsible for operating and setting up manual machining equipment to produce precision components according to drawings and specifications. It involves hands-on machining, measurement, basic machine maintenance, and adherence to safety and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist & support senior machinist and engineer in setting up machines with tools & materials, fixture alignment, basic programming and machine adjustments. Machine operation & machining tasks such as operate manual milling machines and forming machines. Set up machines according to job requirements and technical drawings. Perform manual micro drilling and milling operation based on drawings and specifications. Perform deburring, buffing and polishing of machined/tooling parts. Fabricate manual epoxy moulds when required. Measure and inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments including Vernier callipers, Micrometres, Dial indicators, Height gauges and etc. Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines Check and maintain lubrication systems, coolant levels, and overall machine condition Maintain 5S standards and good housekeeping in the work area.

Job Requirements:

Diploma, Certificate, or SKM qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Tool & Die, Precision Machining, or others. Basic knowledge of machining processes and manual milling operations. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Familiarity with precision measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and quality. Good teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
