What will you do?


The Tender Engineer supports the Sales team for tendering and proposal exercises including technical clarification for ongoing bids. In this position, he/she will be responsible for creating the proposal tender and ensure full compliance according to company regulation and guidelines.


Duties and responsibilities:


1. Tender and technical proposal preparation

• Ensures sales regulation and guidelines are fully complied.
• Comprehensive understanding of project specification.
• Creation of proper technical proposal.
• Optimized costing with quotations from third party suppliers when necessary.
• Evaluate offer/pricing with necessary costing analysis.
• Review of commercial T&C / draft contract with escalation to Legal person in charge.
• Incorporate Gutor proposition values into our offers.
• Ensure on time tender submission.

2. Customer Meetings

• Attend technical / bid clarification meetings.
• Present and qualify our proposal as the \xe2\x80\x9cbest proposal\xe2\x80\x9d to the customer.
• Identify and address major customer concerns.

3. FEED and customer support activitiesSupport customers with sound technical proposals during FEED stage

• Spec-in and qualify Gutor solution as main design reference.

4. Strong cooperation with project execution team

• Facilitate Quote to win process.
• Support project handover to execution team.
• Properly identify risks and opportunity.
• Support project manager / design engineer during project execution.

5. Global exposure / communication (either internal SE/Gutor and with external customers)

Qualifications:
What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor degree from Electrical Engineering/ or equivalent
• Computer literacy is a necessary.
• 2 - 3 years experience in Tendering, Sales or Engineering / Project Execution
• Understanding of multi-cultural markets with go to market models
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, and confidential environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
