Where do you fit In?

As Terminal Operations Supervisor you will take the lead to ensure compliance with all the relevant standards and regulations both internal and external.

You will monitor and support terminals with a Terminal Automation System (TAS), Reliability &- Integrity (R&I) plan, Asset Management Plan (AMP), and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). To provide relief coverage to terminal operations during the shortage of manpower and support the execution of a project.

What\xe2\x80\x99s the role?

• Conduct business under Shell\xe2\x80\x99s Statement of General Business Principles.
• Assist the Terminal Manager in ensuring that there is an effective implementation of the company\xe2\x80\x99s Business Controls Framework. This requires adherence to company policies, standards, guidelines, and systems (procedures).
• Involved and participated in achieving KPI targets. This includes prompt collation, preparation, and submission of all reportorial requirements to monitor agreed KPIs.
• Involved, participated, and complied with the defined Business Continuity Plan/Disaster Recovery Plan to avoid disruptions in depot operations.
• Responsible for all maintenance management activities in the Terminal including but not exclusive to Routine maintenance, Gantry, Terminal Operations, Firefighting Equipment, Tanks, Jetty, Pipelines, Electrical, Pumps, Pressure Relief Valve/Temperature Relief Valve (PRV/TRV), Hoses, Surveillance.
• Responsible for the day-to-day execution of maintenance work, generally managed through a computerized maintenance management system (GSAP PM).
• Maintain HSSE critical equipment and ensure optimum working conditions.
• Involved in the implementation and maintenance of the T&S Management Systems (examples: Terminal Operations Manuals, Local Operating Procedures, HSSE Management System, Emergency Response Plan, Oil Spill Contingency Plan, Asset Integrity Process Safety Manual, etc.).
• Involved in obtaining the allocation of the necessary funds and business approval, construction and decommissioning of assets, and project performance reviews during yearly budget exercises.
• Assist the Terminal Manager in ensuring that key issues in the terminal operations (using the Risk Matrix) are identified and that action plans are developed.
• Involved in terminal initiatives/programs and their implementation. This may be on HSSE, Road Transport, GSAP, Distribution-Global Asset Management Excellence, Finance, People, etc.
• Responsible for verifying and monitoring preventive maintenance execution at the Terminal. To ensure proper and timely execution of the Reliability and Integrity (R&I) program, including Tank, Jetty and Pipeline Integrity Program. (TIP, JIP, and PIP).
• To be part of the terminal Firefighting, emergency response/oil spill management team and shall participate in the required training/drills.
• Support and participate in all audits/reviews of the terminal.
• Support and supervise all engineering projects in the terminal, including those initiated by Engineering.
• Participate in all regular HSSE meetings and ensure the integrity of documents.
• Supervise terminal operators in day-to-day work as well as provide training as and when required.
• Maintain HSSE critical equipment and ensure optimum working conditions.
• Become & maintain a certified Shore Officer which involves:
• Coordinating with the Ship representative and Terminal regarding any change in the discharge and/or loading plan.
• Ensuring that all shore operations sections of the ship-to-shore checklist (SSSCL) is accomplished according to procedures and following HSSE standards as an accredited shore officer.
• Ensuring safe discharge and loading operations at the terminal and jetties.
• Maintaining and making available recommended and intrinsically safe telecommunications equipment for use during the entire duration of the product receiving and loading activities.

• Diploma or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, experience in maintenance chemical or fuel handling
• Ability to build effective relationships with broad multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• With at least 3 to 4 years of experience with Fuel and Terminal experience
