In this role, you will contribute to developing cutting-edge software designed to streamline media production and management at the leading Hollywood movie studios, news organizations, and sports teams. As a valuable member of the CatDV team, your role will involve actively contributing to our software release process and enhancing our automation testing efforts. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in ensuring consistent and high-quality product releases, ultimately elevating the overall quality of our software and documentation. Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of automated test frameworks and testing strategies.
• Conduct functional and regression testing and actively participate in product release preparations.
• Take responsibility for reporting and tracking defects, working collaboratively with the development team to resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, including developers and DevOps, to assist in testing new features and products.
• Play a key role in enhancing the test management processes for CatDV software.
• Stay current with the latest technological advancements to continually improve your skillset and contribute to the team\'s success.

Required Skills and/or Experience:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
• At least five years experience working in a Quality Control role, Test Engineer, or related position with equivalent experience.
• Basic proficiency of Windows and Unix operating systems.
• Understanding and experience in DevOps development culture, principles, and practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, & presentation.
• A fast learner - gaining a good understanding of the current architecture and functioning of the existing CatDV suite of products.
• Enjoy working in a team environment as well as being able to work independently.
• Able to adjust to flexible work hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience with testing SaaS and Cloud software.
• Scripting and coding skills.
• Experience with problem tracking and test automation software.
