About the role

For the Test & Product Engineering Group, within BG Analog & Logic IC\xe2\x80\x99s based in Seremban, Malaysia , we are looking for a Semiconductor Validation Engineer. In this exciting role, you will play a major part in the exploration and development of new, exciting and challenging Analog & Logic Semiconductor products that are unknown to the world as of now.

What you will do

• Responsible for the quality and execution of IC product tests according to validation plan
• Responsible for development of new lab test methods and hardware
• Responsible for populating validation gate report of performed tests.
• Engage in the validation activities relating to customer complaints and its requests
• Accountable to execute tasks according to project planning and to find solutions to keep the planning on track
• Participate in Risk assessment (FMEA) and problem-solving teams (8D).
• Investigate discrepancies during validation executions and remedy through corrective actions and improvement
• Initiates and drives improvements on test- and measurement quality and efficiency.
• Compile and write training material and conducts training sessions on validation activities.

What you will need

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Approximately 8 years of relevant work experience with testing of Semiconductor devices.
• Hands on knowledge of Validation and application measurements on the bench, Follow by being familiar with Electrical Lab equipment (Pattern Generator, Digital Scopes, Network & Parametric analyzer, etc.) \xe2\x80\x93 Principal*
• Experience with power management IC\xe2\x80\x99s will be of added advantage.
• Programming knowledge on using LabView to develop solution.
• Analytical Skills and ability to apply pragmatic approaches.
• Good communication skills in English.
