Position: Finance & Accounting Specialist (Japanese/Korean/Thai/Vietnamese) Company Background : Shared Service Centre (Multinational Communications, advertising and PR) Tenure : Permanent Working Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, Remuneration: RM4,650-6,000 (Analyst), 6,000-8,200 (Senior Analyst) For Analyst: Basic (RM2,500-4,000) For Senior Analyst: Basic (RM4,000-6,000) Language Allowance (RM1,800) + RM350 (Other allowance) Yearly Bonus would be provided depends company and individual performance Job Summary We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Specialist to join the Shared Service Centre. In this role, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards as Japanese, Korean, Thai, or Vietnamese speaker. Responsibilities 1. Accounts Payable: Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies. Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of payments. Assist with vendor inquiries and build strong supplier relationships. 2. Accounts Receivable: Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely manner. Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues. Maintain accurate records of the transactions. 3. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits. Generate and distribute financial reports to relevant stakeholders. 4. Process Improvement: Participate in the development and enhancement of finance and accounting processes. Propose and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Performance Requirements: Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in a shared service center environment for 1-3 years are preferred, or having Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Fresh graduated are also welcome to apply) Strong Language skill in Japanese, Korean, Thai or Vietnamese. Relevant accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) advantaged. Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
