JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions
- Operate and utilize a range of power and hand tools in carrying out welding activities
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning with chemical solutions and wire brushes to remove impurities such as scale, rust, grease, and moisture
- Mount and secure workpieces on production equipment using cranes, hoists or banding machines
- Prior welding experience is an advantage
- Able to read drawings
- Willing to work overtime
- Basic background in welding is preferred
- If fresh, minimally must have experience working in manufacturing/production area
- Hardworking, willing to learn
- Bonus if experience in O&G sector previously
