Our client is a forward-thinking media agency that integrates influencer marketing, social media strategy, and online-to-offline (O2O) brand activations. With deep expertise in platforms such as TikTok and XiaoHongShu (XHS), the team helps brands engage Southeast Asia's digital audiences through impactful and measurable campaigns.
Role Overview
As the Social Media Manager, you will lead end-to-end social media initiatives, manage key influencer collaborations, and strengthen online brand presence. This role involves driving both organic and paid growth, crafting compelling content, and partnering with internal teams to deliver high-performing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop and implement tailored social media strategies across TikTok, XHS, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
Content Leadership
Oversee the creation of trendy, engaging, and conversation-worthy content.
Influencer & KOL Management
Identify, negotiate, and manage influencer partnerships, while evaluating campaign performance and ROI.
Paid Media Management
Plan, monitor, and optimize paid social advertising to support brand visibility and performance goals.
Community Engagement
Build and nurture online communities through authentic interactions and innovative activations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with creative, media, and event teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.
Performance Analysis
Track, analyze, and report campaign results to improve strategies and maximize impact.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in social media and influencer marketing (agency or in-house).
Experience managing and guiding a small but highly skilled team.
Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and emerging formats.
Excellent command of TikTok and XiaoHongShu.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
Creative yet analytical mindset with strong organizational and project management skills.
