Description Primary Objective: Fixed Income Securities (FIS) -FIS settlement Monitoring Maturity & Interest Equities -Equities Settlement dividend monitoring Bondholders Notice and Resolution Fund transactions monitoring and execution Money market transactions Custodian Account daily processing and transactions Ensure effective customer service for both internal and external clients Key Responsibilities: Monitor trade settlement with counterparties and to liaise with Fund Manager/Middle Office/Portfolio Valuation Team of RHB Asset Management (RHBAM) for Portfolio operational issues. Authorize trade settlement in MFUND system. Monitor and follow-up on fixed income maturity and accrued interest on behalf of RHBAM. Responsible for timely receiving of pre-matching report from brokers and follow-ups. Monitor equity and cash are settled on value date. Authorize MFUND entry settlement and corporate actions. Monitor and timely execution of proxy forms for RHBAM portfolios and other RHB Nominees clients. Provide updates to Fund Managers on Bondholders meeting resolutions. Responsible for timely execution of Money Market Placements Monitor daily reconciliations for both cash and portfolio valuations of RHBAM clients. Ensure timely reporting and submission of BNM Quarterly IIP Reporting and SC half yearly Custodian reporting. To spearhead the automation projects for Custodian Daily Reporting to RHBAM, creation of new sub menu in BOS for Portfolio Admin functions and data migration Any other duties/tasks as may be assigned by the management. Portfolio administrative support functions and Nominees\' operations for Asset Management Discretionary and Non-Discretionary (Private Mandates) clients inclusive of Unit Trust subscriptions, redemptions and switching. Handling processing of the following: Share transfer, Account opening & closing, Reactivation of account, Deceased Account, Proxy voting for Nominees\' clients, Audit Confirmation, Scaning account opening in Docuflo etc Confirmation of Equities, bond transaction etc. Portfolio and bank reconciliation Support and process EQD transaction Perform UAT for process/system enhancement and housekeeping exercises and other ad-hoc assignments Requirements Requirements: Bachelor Degree - . Minimum of 2 years\' experience in a financial institution with exposure in equities operations and knowledge in the business and regulatory requirements. Fresh graduate can be considered. Strong analytical and good rationale thinking, critical judgment and communication skills Good management and leadership skills and self- motivated Acquire high level of problem solving skills and knowledge of procedures and technical aspects.
