Overall Job Responsibility

Maintains tool functionality and cutting tool condition for wear, defects and damage by performing frequent inspections of cutting edge with tool presetter equipment
Responsibilities

Keeps an inventory of tools by tracking the distribution of tools and users in a database. Keep track of all tools which were issued to production or sent for repair or calibration. Check status of tools prior issuing and upon returning back to the tool crib. Liaise with the tooling supplier and purchasing team to ensure that tools required are available and in good working order. Ensure housekeeping and 5S principles are applied all the time. Perform minor routine maintenance and repairs. Sanding by hand or sanding with a pneumatic hand tool for more troublesome deformities.
Competency Requirements:-

Min. Certificate in manufacturing industries/ CNC machining Possess knowledge of cutting tools. Be computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Office applications Be a good team player
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
