Job Description

• Possess a specialized vocational course that focuses on training individuals in designing, manufacturing, and maintaining tools and dies used in the manufacturing industry.

• Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
• Can speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin.
• Proficiency in designing tools and dies using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical specifications.
• Understanding of metalworking, machining, and fabrication processes relevant to tool and die making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize designs for efficiency, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ability to work closely with machinists, production teams, and engineers to ensure the successful implementation of designs.

Responsibilities

• Read customers part blueprints.
• Analyze the specifications and requirements of the customers or engineers.
• Use computer software to design 3D models and 2D drawings of moulds.
• Perform simulations and calculations to ensure the functionality and feasibility of the designs.
• Optimize the designs for quality, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with the tool makers, mould makers and production staff to ensure the smooth implementation of the designs.
• Test and validate the mould and products and make adjustments as needed.*Documents and report the design process and results.
