Seeking a

Tools Specialist for DevSecOps

for our client in the BFSI, responsible for administering, optimizing and supporting development and security tools such as

GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Nexus, GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) and other DevSecOps platforms

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may also be considered. More than 5 years in IT Professional Hands-on experience administering and optimizing developer tools including GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Copilot, Nexus Repository and GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS). Proven track record in managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools, with strong emphasis on DevSecOps practices such as integrating GHAS, SAST, DAST and dependency scanning tools. Skilled in tool lifecycle management, including upgrades, patches, migrations and seamless integration into CI/CD workflows. Experience administering access controls, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Adept at troubleshooting complex tool-related issues, coordinating with vendors and providing Tier 2/3 support. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to align tooling strategies. Background in DevOps or Agile environments, with enterprise-level experience in managing developer tools and secure software delivery pipelines. Experience administering, configuring, integrating and maintaining tools such as GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Copilot, Nexus Repository, GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) and DevSecOps pipelines. Strong understanding of Git, Git-based workflows, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Copilot usage. Proficient in CI/CD tools and automation using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar tools. Practical experience integrating and managing security tools including GHAS, SAST, DAST and dependency scanning in CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of artifact management practices and tools like Nexus Repository. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities with experience coordinating with vendors and support teams for L2/L3 support. Able to train and mentor developers and others in secure coding, tool usage and DevOps best practices. Experience designing dashboards and reports for tool visibility, adoption, performance and compliance tracking. Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English Skilled in managing multiple priorities, projects and deliverables under pressure. Self-starter with a proactive attitude . Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering reliable and secure services. Strong knowledge of version control systems, deployment automation and build configurations. Certifications:

GitHub Foundations or GitHub Administration Certification (or equivalent experience)

DevOps/DevSecOps certifications such as Certified DevOps Engineer or DevOps Foundation. ITIL Foundation Certification for process alignment and IT service management. Agile-related certifications (e.g. Scrum Master). CI/CD pipeline tool certifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
