Assist the MCSO in managing the day-to-day operations and performance of the automotive service centre.
Supervise, guide, and support subordinates in daily activities, including conducting briefings and regular meetings to share operational updates.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of service standard operating procedures (SOPs) and performance targets.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a superior customer service experience at all times.
Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring departmental performance, and driving profitability.
Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, including cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of service areas, tools, and equipment.
Monitor and maintain inventory of parts, accessories, lubricants, tools, and facilities in optimal condition.
Conduct regular audits on workshop operations, including compliance with 5S standards and maintenance of hand tools/equipment.
Undertake any ad hoc assignments or projects as directed by management.
Requirements
Minimum Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in
Automotive
or related field.
Minimum 3 years of working experience (or at least 2 years in a similar role).
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia with strong communication skills.
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Hands-on experience in managing service centre operations and manpower.
Results-driven, customer-focused, and capable of working independently under tight deadlines.
Skilled in planning, budgeting, and overseeing service centre/workshop operations.
Strong problem-solving ability with sound decision-making skills.
Excellent supervisory, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
