The Traffic Management Supervisor is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising all traffic control operations at work sites to ensure the safety of the public, workers, and equipment. This role involves managing traffic management crews, coordinating with local authorities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily traffic management activities on-site.
Develop and implement Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) in accordance with local laws and project requirements.
Conduct pre-work inspections and risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance.
Ensure signage, cones, barriers, and other traffic control devices are correctly placed and maintained.
Liaise with government agencies, emergency services, and contractors to coordinate traffic control.
Monitor crew performance, assign duties, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies involving traffic control and reroute traffic as necessary.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ongoing training for traffic management personnel.
Maintain accurate records including site diaries, incident reports, and vehicle/equipment logs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including OSHA, local road transport authority standards, and company policies.
Report any non-conformances or safety breaches to management and implement corrective actions.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
