Transactional & Spot Buy Specialist

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

A. \'TAT\' Turn Around Time from PR to PO: PR analysis, RFQ preparation, Review Offers - Analyze Purchase Requisitions (requirements, threshold, categories) - Acknowledge Purchase Requisition and inform requesters on treatment lead time B. Savings: compare the price obtained with the pre-defined baseline - Execute Spot Buy process according to the guidelines (e.g. Category Cards available in EPIC) strategies and instructions given by the category managers / country buyers - Launch RFQ to suppliers in EPIC - Negotiate and select a supplier according to the defined strategy in the category and \'OAR\' score C. Process: apply the process, any deviations shall be shared to improve the process - Create Purchase Order related to products and services in the system - Initiate approbation according to the DOA - Flag the the Purchase Orders related to the spot buys, monitor the execution in accordance to the contract or the general purchasing conditions (GPCs) - Follow up Purchase Order execution (preventive actions) - manage logistics when necessary (neogtiaiton, booking, follow up) - Based on local regulations, proactively follow-up on POs to get supplier confirmations and updates - Overdue PO reports follow-up with supplier to determine cause for delay and enforce fast delivery (SCAR) - Keep informed the requesters regarding the PO status and expected delivery date - Escalate to Local Sourcing Specialists, Category Managers, Project Procurement Managers [Follow escalation matrix] - Manage claims and disputes D. Reporting - Perform period activity meetings with Tactical Procurement Director and with Category Managers / Country buyers on spot buys reduction opportunities - Report savings performed and Service Levels achieved to SPot Buy & Requisitioning Manager

Are you a MATCH?

• 1-2 years of related working experience.
• The background should enable him/her to support source to pay (S2P) activity particularly for spot buy category.
• The successful candidate should also be in charge of supplier creation and maintenance in ORACLE while also handling export-import related task.
• It is key that the successful candidate is keen to cope with the digital tools that we will be deployed in AL Group.
• Asides from those technical skills, the successful candidate should have cumulated significant experience in multi-cultural management, providing significant results in his/her organization.
• Due to the multiple stakeholders that the successful candidate will deal with, excellent communication skills, high autonomy and ability to learn fast will be a key success factor.
