A Snapshot of Your Day
The Field Service Engineer reports directly to the Head of Operations, working closely with the Local, Regional & HQ teams.
How You\'ll Make an Impact
\xc2\xb7 Within the context of Switching & Non-Switching equipment, you will be tasked to coordinate, supervise, advise on service tasks such as installation, commissioning, upgrades, and routine maintenance independently and being able to identify & resolve technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity.
\xc2\xb7 Comfortable with digital/tech tools such as remote gear & usage of various software
\xc2\xb7 Coordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipment.
\xc2\xb7 Adheres to defined processes and applicable regulations.
\xc2\xb7 Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation
\xc2\xb7 Maintains a good relationship with both internal & external customers
\xc2\xb7 Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative
\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoots equipment failure and makes recommendations
\xc2\xb7 Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities
\xc2\xb7 Reports unsafe practices and incidents
What You Bring
\xc2\xb7 Degree/ Advance Diploma or equivalent working experience (Electrical / Mechanical Engineering) with more than 4 years\' working experience
\xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience & knowledge on Electrical / Transmission Products and Services (switching & non-switching equipment)
\xc2\xb7 Have relevant technical / site experience on High Voltage equipment
\xc2\xb7 Must be comfortable handling different technical and non-technical presentations
\xc2\xb7 Able to communicate well within various levels of the organization, both internal and external
\xc2\xb7 Understands that there are cultural differences and copes with them effectively
\xc2\xb7 Ability to improvise and willingness to experience unpredictable situations
\xc2\xb7 Positive attitude to work in challenging environment and in embracing high performance culture
\xc2\xb7 Professional English required, where additional Asian languages will be a benefit.
\xc2\xb7 Must be mobile both locally and regionally.
