Transport Execution Coordinator Your future position?

As a Transport Execution Coordinator you will be a part of the Logistics team in Givaudan Business Solutions (GBS). You will perform transport coordination tasks for us in our APAC production sites to ensure the short time supply delivery. You will report to our Regional Hub Transport Manager.

Main Responsibilities

• Be the First Escalation point for transport issues.
• Coordinate Master Data Creation with local transport managers and data management team
• Create volume forecasts of road shipments and communicate with carriers
• Monitor to ensure up-to-date E2E Transportation Data Flow (Edi messages, Reason Code update) and support Givaudan reporting team
• Manage Inbound/Outbound deliveries updates through system (SAP +Track & Trace system) and act with internal/external partners
• Manage important Road daily transportation exceptions, coordinate express shipments requests with internal / external partners
• Coordinate difficult and urgent returns demands (PO/ Intercompany / Sales Order)
• Review/validate road freight invoices & manage carrier request for additional charges beyond the scope of their contracted pricing
• Review/ participate in LSP performance reviews (regionally)
• Participate to the Logistic Service Provider selection and support implementation
• Monitor and give guidance for optimization on transportation Mode
• Apply and ensure Givaudan validated processes are in place together with sites and road service providers and, share any local best practice and escalate where needed
• Ensure any specific required follow up on road transportation
• Act to avoid recurrent, seasonal, or predictable spikes (bank holidays, spikes) and apply regionally
• Manage important site specific Logistics Complaints and returns
• Observe service levels Adherence to procedures
• Build relationships with teams
• Work with internal and external partners by phone, email
• Organize and support every day operations
• Monitor improvement areas
• Provide active support in transitions

Education/ primary qualification:

• Bachelor\'s degree required in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent
• Languages: Japan - Read, Write & Speak and English - Fluent
• Professional experience: Min. 3+ years of experience in Logistics

Required skills:

• SAP knowledge
• Advanced MS excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and or equivalent tools
• Willingness to travel (5%-10%)
• Focus on gaining knowledge and initiate development of him/ herself
• Work alone comfortably
