Our client is a well established and leading provider of international freight forwarding and logistics services in Malaysia. They are actively seeking to recruit suitable candidates to their freight logistics service operations teams based at Kelana Jaya office in Petaling Jaya.
About the job
The job will be very mush co-ordination oriented and entails large amount of coordination activities across departments. As Transport Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing transport haulage and logistics arrangement from collection to delivery. The role is designed to support effective delivery of operational and end-to-end account management services to customers and overseas offices. Specific activities/duties will include:
- Manage and maintain all transport operations for end to end operational and account support
- Organize transportation haulage schedule and coordinate delivery, dispatch and receiving goods/cargoes.
- Arrange LCL/FCL sea-freight transport delivery.
- Ensure consignments are accurate and securely packed.
- Accurately and timely data entry into electronic online systems.
- Malaysian male or female.
- Educated up to Diploma level qualification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in haulage transportation logistics activities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of freight forwarding operations.
- Strong communication skills in English and BM.
- Proficient in IT and internet application skills.
