Job Responsibility Job Summary As a Lorry Driver in the On-Delivery Order (Logistic) department, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to various destinations, including Rawang, KL, PJ, Klang Valley, and outstations. This role involves not only driving but also includes tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of the delivery vehicle. You are expected to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and delivery process. Logistic Delivery Key Duties & Responsibilities: Receive and load goods, ensuring appropriate storage areas are utilized. Follow SOPs for loading and unloading goods at the designated loading bay. Secure goods properly in the delivery vehicle, verifying the correctness of the products against the Delivery Order (DO). Plan delivery routes, meet schedules, and complete all deliveries within the specified timeframes. Settle all deliveries efficiently, minimizing the risk of goods returns. Perform routine deliveries to destinations including Rawang, KL, PJ, Klang Valley, and outstations. Conduct a final check to ensure the correct goods and quantities are delivered to customers. Provide backup support to colleagues in their absence. Communicate operational issues to superiors and actively participate in finding solutions. Lorry Maintenance & Services Conduct daily checks on the lorry\'s condition, including water, battery water, cleanliness, mirrors, tires, brakes, pedals, etc. Immediately report lorry equipment or mechanical failures and arrange for prompt repairs. Follow lorry maintenance schedules and ensure the vehicle is washed before PUSPAKOM inspection dates. Perform daily maintenance tasks for Mileage Service. Keep the delivery vehicle in good condition and practice good housekeeping concepts by cleaning and washing the lorry daily. Adhere to safety regulations and promptly address any safety issues. General Responsibilities Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company from time to time. Collaborate with management and colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the team and organization. Job Requirements Valid GDL & E truck license. Experience as a truck driver is an advantage. Knowledge of traffic laws and workplace driving regulations. Ability to work independently and handle challenging traffic situations. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Good communication skills.
