We are looking for a suitably qualified individual to join our Singapore regional distribution centre in Penjuru Roles & Responsibilities : \xe2\x80\xa2 To perform all repairs (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic etc) \xe2\x80\xa2 To perform all overhaul repair \xe2\x80\xa2 To perform all troubleshooting and diagnostics with appropriate recommendations. \xe2\x80\xa2 To provide guidance to other Technicians as and when required. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure Utilization, Efficiency and Productivity is achieved. \xe2\x80\xa2 To check and provide correct recommended Parts details in the Work Order as and when required. \xe2\x80\xa2 To carry out Service Maintenance on the trucks. \xe2\x80\xa2 To record repair time and detail of repair in the Work Order. \xe2\x80\xa2 To keep Team Leader updated on the repair details and repair requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Adhere to Warranty Process and Procedures (Warranty tagging of parts, return and storage of warranty parts etc) \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure good housekeeping of work bay. \xe2\x80\xa2 Accountable for all tools and equipment handling and usage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ethical compliance of genuine parts replacement and service rendered according to the checklist and scope of works. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure all service and repairs are performed thoroughly and in accordance to good quality practice and procedures adhering to manufacturers standard 4 (Singapore). \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead by example to ensure high level of Health & Safety performance within the area of responsibility. \xe2\x80\xa2 Adhere to UD Trucks processes and policies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Any other duties assigned by your immediate superior. \xe2\x80\xa2 The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and may be change reasonably based on situation by management Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years working experience in servicing and repairing heavy trucks (Japanese and Continental brands). \xe2\x80\xa2 Basic Vehicle Principles and Concepts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Basic engine, transmission and brake system knowledge. \xe2\x80\xa2 Multi-meter basic electrical values. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge in vehicle electrical circuit diagram. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to communicate in Mandarin & English \xe2\x80\xa2 Technical skill as below: o Preventive Maintenance o Engine check and adjust o Wiring repair o Fault tracing basic systems o Transmission check and adjustments o Compressor cooling basic o Computer skill Benefit: \xe2\x80\xa2 This is a permanent role, based Tuas, Singapore 639136 \xe2\x80\xa2 Working hours: Alternate 5.5 days work week.
