Plan and coordinate daily trucking schedules and routes based on shipment requirements.
Liaise with transporters, drivers, and customers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
Monitor truck movements and follow up on delivery status.
Prepare and verify transport documents (DO, POD, delivery notes, invoices, etc.).
Handle operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, or delivery discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company SOPs, and customer requirements.
Coordinate with warehouse and customs teams to align trucking with cargo readiness.
Update shipment records and maintain accurate documentation in the system.
Manage transporter performance and escalate issues when necessary.
Support cost control by optimizing truck utilization and minimizing additional charges.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum SPM or Diploma qualification; candidates with experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field will be an added advantage.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in trucking, transport coordination, or logistics operations.
Good understanding of local transportation regulations and logistics processes.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics systems.
Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
