SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS: \xe2\x80\xa2 Take ownership of all UX-based projects / tasks assigned; ensure the highest level of optimisation, usefulness, desirability and user / client satisfaction in the journeys, touchpoints & functionalities of the websites, apps and digital solutions that we deliver \xe2\x80\xa2 Assume role as UX lead and project consultant: conduct UX discovery workshops, create workable personas, map user journeys, scenarios & experiences, design & conduct usability tests, analyse & report test results, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Advise, guide and/or supervise team members (i.e. writers, designers & other UX practitioners) in their UX deliverables while managing own projects seamlessly RESPONSIBILITIES: \xe2\x80\xa2 Planning & Strategising o Collaborate with clients and/or team members to refine project requirements, prioritise tasks, pinpoint key UX journeys, identify appropriate UX research & testing methods, develop design concepts, etc. to deliver innovative, workable and compelling solutions o Develop UX strategies and solutions that best capture project requirements while being human-centred, forward-thinking, and in-line with current digital / media trends o Develop UX decks; propose / pitch UX solutions to clients \xe2\x80\xa2 UX Discovery o Conduct UX discovery workshops with stakeholders, business owners, etc. o Convert workshop findings into actionable results; define project next steps pertaining to UX research approach, content & design direction, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 UI/UX Design o Design (or assist in the design of) wireframes, mock ups, prototypes, etc. based on the results of workshops, usability testing and/or user / client feedback \xe2\x80\xa2 Usability Testing o Design, manage and/or execute usability studies, surveys and other user research o Convert usability test findings into actionable results; determine ways to track and measure the effectiveness of newly implemented UX solutions \xe2\x80\xa2 UX Testing & Review o Review and/or conduct user testing and other user-facing activities to validate content, design, touchpoints, and more o Synthesize findings to provide recommendations, inform a better understanding of customers, give insights into business value, and identify potential usability issues & design opportunities, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Other o Mentor team members that are less experienced, as and when required o Evolve own skills; stay up-to-date with UI/UX, CX, tech and digital advertising trends and best practices o Assist in the development and implementation of internal UX research policies, processes and standards o Assist in designing metrics to measure and track the impact of UI/UX improvements QUALIFICATIONS: \xe2\x80\xa2 Qualified UI/UX practitioner with minimum 3\xe2\x80\x934 years of experience in a digital agency or tech-based environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in conducting UX discovery workshops (internal and external) \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in conducting UX research and usability tests using a variety of methods (online and on-ground surveys, focus groups, one-on-one interviews, corridor testing, prototype testing, etc.) \xe2\x80\xa2 Background in multimedia design, graphic design, or copywriting is preferred (proven experience and portfolio required) \xe2\x80\xa2 Prior senior position and leadership experience is preferred SKILL REQUIREMENTS: \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrates sound technical and domain knowledge in UI/UX design \xe2\x80\xa2 Skilled in persona creation, journey mapping and UI/UX best practices \xe2\x80\xa2 Skilled in mapping / writing accurate, clear, and concise UX journeys, reports, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Technically adept and able to simplify complex messages; understands the concepts of UX writing / micro-copywriting \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to plan and strategise high-profile projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong understanding of design principles \xe2\x80\xa2 Skilled in web wireframing, with prototyping knowledge / experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Creative and imaginative; curious about clients\xe2\x80\x99 products or services \xe2\x80\xa2 Confident, insightful, analytical, and meticulous \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective and collaborative communicator across all interfaces and relationships \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work quickly and flexibly across multiple projects, often with tight deadlines \xe2\x80\xa2 Basic skills in using Axure RP Pro, Xtensio, InVision, UXPin, and/or other documentation, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Adobe XD, wire-framing and rapid prototyping tool \xe2\x80\xa2 Adept in MS Office Suites (especially Word, PowerPoint & Excel) NICE TO HAVE: \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with social networks: Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with Google-based tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Trends, etc.
