About the role What you need to know: Description: The staff is expected to manage: Renewal Review a) Major job function is to take over renewal review. Renewal review need to be completed on weekly basis as every weekend, is renewal run for renewal notice printing. b) The job will include finding new ways for easier and faster review to be done by way of system enhancement and collaboration with other units where required. To actively liaising with IT and system vendor to get this done. Also ways to reduce the review number hence the time taken will be meaningful used for other initiatives. Product/benefits development Assist Underwriting Manager for product development which should include preparing the policy wordings, liaising with IT and system vendor on system development as well as working with pricing for product/benefits rating and system testing. Regulatory Requirement including product/pricing filing Assist Underwriting Manager to look into and implement any regulatory requirement that may include system enhancement. Branches Support The staff will also be responsible to support branches with any enquiries pertaining to underwriting, policies terms and conditions, policies and endorsements premium checking under de-tariff. Local underwriting The staff is also required to: i) check the underwriting validations and pricing correctness based on the info provided by agents in our policy system and liaising with branches for rectification and collection of correct premium where required ii) be the contact point on UQA/Internal/External audits iii) oversee the Safe Harbor report on quarterly basis and ensure the report will be sent to Regional office on time iv) update blacklist list identified via sanction screening, advise from Claims on fraud claimant or frequent claimant etc as and when required. What we\'re looking for: Requirements \'3 + years of experience\' in related field (preferably experience in Auto) Minimum qualification: Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree and above Preferably from Insurance or Banking industry Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills Must have good command of English Computer literate and a proficient user of MS Office applications.
