Unix Technical Support Analyst
Job Description
Technical Support for UNIX/Linux, IBM Websphere etc. in banking domain. Responsibilities Perform installation, implementation, maintenance of new and existing hardware, software and operating systems including updates, configuration changes and patches. Ensure high level of systems availability by performing regular health-checks and configurations fine-tuning. Troubleshoot and resolve systems related issue. Perform Unix scripting / VisualBasic programming. Document systems procedures and guidelines. Research and recommend new technologies to improve workflow efficiency. Requirements A recognized Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science. Minimum 3-years experience in Unix/Linux/Solaris/AIX/CentOS operating system administration. Strong working experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server, Oracle Weblogic & Oracle Database Server. Good knowledge in fine tuning, high availability systems & systems security. Strong ability to utilize Unix shell programming methods. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. String interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated and a team player.
