Job Description

It\'s an exciting time to be part of IFF, as we are offering rewarding employment in Penang, Malaysia, as Utilities Engineer.Responsibilities:

• Handling boiler operations on site & liasie with DOSH and other local authority
• related to regulatory audit or other requirements.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Department to set up Preventive & Predictive
• Maintenance for all Boilers and other utilities at site.
• Manage operating costs and improve service levels by leading and participating in energy management and plant improvement projects.
• Review the energy usage on periodic basis and set appropriate KPI to measure the boiler efficiency, cooling tower, air compressor and other utilities at site.
• Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to develop and execute sustainable source of energy at site.
• Continuously review current systems to develop a continuous improvement focus for the department.
• Implement and maintain the Company\'s Safety Management Systems. To ensure the hazards are identified and controlled, safe behaviors practices are maintained.
• Incidents are reported and investigated and early intervention in injury management.

Job RequirementsRequirements:

• MUST have at least 2nd Grade Steam Engineer\'s Certificate of Competency issued by DOSH.
• At least a bachelor\'s degree in mechanical / engineering or equivalent.
• With 7 years of working experience in managing boiler operation & other utilities operation.
• Experience in food industries will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated proficiency in accuracy and attention to detail.
• Possesses charisma in leadership.
• Competence in MS Office & project management.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze potential manufacturing problems and initiate appropriate solutions.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
