Job Description

Responsible to oversees and coordinates the maintenance of the utility plants, ensuring timely and efficient repair of systems and equipment to allow uninterrupted supply of steam, chilled water, potable water and compressed air. Manage and supervise the group of boilerman and WWTP operators by providing recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation and problem resolution. Manage, supervise, coordinate and monitor Boiler House and Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) activities; maintains equipment and performs related duties to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of steam boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air dryers and air compressors, air handling units, dehumidifier and air conditionings system. Perform quality assurance inspections on all completed jobs; ensures conformance with Malaysian standards, mechanical codes, OSHA, regulations, lock out-tag out, confined space protocols, Material Safety Data Sheets, engineering specifications, and other local, state, and federal regulations. Establish spare parts management system. Ensure that all required spare parts are available and to procure the required parts on regular basis. Establish Preventive Maintenance system for Boiler House, Utilities House and WWTP to ensure reliable operation of equipment. To produce PM schedule, inspection and cleaning schedule includes checklist of the jobs to be performed.

Job Requirement:

• Degree/ Diploma in Any Engineering Discipline.
• At least 3 years working experience in related field.
