Get to know the Role

Reporting to the Validation and Testing Manager, this role will lead the testing effort for GTS. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining the automation scripts in Tosca. The candidate we are looking for is someone with a strong automation and testing background in enterprise applications and SaaS, in the domains of ERP, finance and procurement, people systems and Salesforce.

The Day-to-Day Activities:

Develop automated scripts using Tosca

Responsible to execute and maintain automated test cases

Investigate any issues found during execution to determine if the issue is a valid defect or an error in the script and fixing the script

Work closely with the local and/or remote Product Development team and follow through all test packages to ensure high quality product release and delivery.

Analyze test results to identify discrepancies and failures.

Detailed root cause analysis of issues to the extent of identifying anomalies in the code, network and databases, verify and provide findings prior to raising the Defect/Problem Reports (PR).

Ensure the timely delivery of testing milestones.

Suggest Automation Approaches if any for the desired functions.

Accountable for assigned project deliverables, including test reporting (test statistics, measurement, etc) to the reporting manager when required

Continuous Risk Analysis assessment on the product under test based on test coverage, defects history and other parameters.

Development and maintenance of test best practices (through process and procedures) with other test team members. Ensure Test best practices followed on all projects.

Assist in developing/deploying test processes and methodologies,

Comply with existing quality and testing standards.

The Must-Haves:

Excellent documentation skills required to document and report on defects and other software issues and to communicate with clients and users

Strong problem-solving ability.

Experienced with Tosca (Automated tools).

Experienced with qTest

Collaborative attitude \xe2\x80\x93 work effectively with other internal departments

Good organization and planning skills \xe2\x80\x93 able to develop and follow plans and to maintain pace.

Analytical skills \xe2\x80\x93 ability to understand detailed or abstract processes and perform effective knowledge capture.

Work in a under minimal supervision

Must be organized and detail-oriented.

Excellent negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
