Position Description:

A member of the Engineering team, providing technical support to company departments and clientele.

The employee must ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions whilst also adhering to Industry and clientele engineering standards.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions. External - Interface with clients to provide technical support and engineering solutions. Execute projects delivery on time and within budget. In-house - Interface with company departments providing technical and engineering assistance. Responsible for project management reporting and liaised with different discipline engineers within the Group. Overhaul and recertification of relief valves including conventional, balances bellows, pilot operated and vacuum types. Overhaul, test and recertification of all control valves, actuators and ancillary equipment. Overhaul, test and recertification of all actuator types. Troubleshooting and problem solving of all valve and actuator issues. Provide core competence in use of valve flushing and sealant injection services. Provide core competence in use of all torque and tensioning equipment. Execution of risk assessments and hazard assessments (Start cards) on all related work scopes. Provide technical support to all valve workshop teams. Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. Plan and coordinate any project or shutdown work as and when required. Conduct site surveys and produce detailed reports of the equipment detailed above in accordance with client and/or the company's requirements. Ensure all workshop equipment and tooling are maintained regularly and all records are kept up to date. Responsible for the general housekeeping within and surrounding the department. Participate in both the night shift and weekend rota, where required. Attend client site and offshore operations to carry out survey, repair and/or testing of valves at customer location. Responsible for escorting any third party inspector. Compiling of Engineering Reports, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Procedure writing, CTRs/Quotations, Engineering Calculations etc. Review of procedures, engineering drawings, material certification and other order related documentation to ensure technical compliance in accordance with industry/clients standards and specifications. Preparation of tender, ITB or RFQ submission to clients. Liaise with principal or suppliers on the best technical and commercial solution to be proposed to clients. Reviewing the tender technical specifications and datasheet during the preparation stage. Compiling the completed datasheet, brochures and technical proposal into the tender, ITB or RFQ submission. Preparation and calculation of pricing and costing for the tenders, ITB and RFQ together with the company tender management. Preparation of compliance statement on commercial terms and conditions in the tenders, ITB and RFQ. Compiling all supporting document requested by clients into the tender submission. Responsibility to respond to the clients on all technical clarification and technical and commercial clarification of the tenders, ITB and RFQ during tender evaluation stage. Regular follow up with principals for design, technical and commercial matters (if any) and ensure accurate & timely updates to the company management and clients. Efficiently execute of assigned projects to deliver within schedule, cost and at an acceptance quality according to client and international standards. Attend client calls promptly and identify root causes, resolve issues and feedback to client. Analysis reporting for diagnostic services. Risk management and mitigation. To access and work in MS Office, Outlook, MS Team & other software application. Follow, achieve any update the competency booklet as per company requirement. Participating in any Risk assessments / toolbox talks. Participate for all offshore and sites (including overseas) valve repair and services jobs. Participate for Acoustic Valve Leak Test. Person in Charge for Valve Service Contract. Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Requirement

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with min. 5 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry including min 3 years' field experience in maintenance and repair of valves in Oil & Gas industry; or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with min. 5-7 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry including min 5 years' field experience in maintenance and repair of valves in Oil & Gas industry
