About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

VAPT Engineer

to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits across applications, networks, cloud environments, and systems. You will play a critical role in identifying security gaps, providing remediation recommendations, and ensuring overall security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT)

on web applications, mobile applications, APIs, cloud, and infrastructure. Identify, exploit, and document vulnerabilities in systems and applications. Develop and deliver detailed

technical reports

and

executive summaries

of findings, including risk ratings and remediation guidance. Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and product teams to fix vulnerabilities and enhance security posture. Conduct threat modeling and simulate cyber-attacks to test security controls. Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and exploits. Automate security testing processes where possible and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 5-7 years of experience in

VAPT, red teaming, or ethical hacking

. Strong knowledge of

web application security (OWASP Top 10), network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)

. Familiarity with scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript) for custom exploits and automation. Relevant certifications preferred:

OSCP, CEH, GPEN, GWAPT, CISA, CISSP

. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Good to have ,

OSCP or other relevant certification, IT and OT VAPT experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
