The incumbent will work to build the sustainability practice of Group CIMB within Group Commercial Banking and SME. In line with the Group's Sustainable leader in ASEAN. He/She will be at the forefront of the sustainable finance market & standards development and apply these insights at Division level to : * Identify new areas of opportunities in product / services or economic sectors. In line with CIMB's Green, Social and Sustainable impact Product & Services (GSSIPS) framework and position CIMB to strategically tap into and capture apportunities arising from sustainable development and transition towards low carboon economy.

• Develop and execute CIMB's sustainable finance strategies and initiatives, with a focus on innovating sustainable finance products & services and leading pitches and transactions, working closely with clients and key internal stakeholders including Relationship Manager, Branding and Marketing, Credit Risk, etc.
• Strengthen Group Commercial Banking sustainability capibilities in offering sustainable finance solutions to clients, especially with Relationship Manager and Credit Risk, in partnership with Group Sustainability.
• Support in corporation on environmental social and governance considerations into business product and marketing decisions.

Support sustainable finance business development * Collaborationwith product sales and risk teams to enhance and develop credible sustainable finance solutions, from origination to execution.

• Innovate and identify new product and services opportunities in the sustainability space to grow Group Commercial Banking's Green, Social, Sustainable Impact Products and Services (GSSIPS) portfolio
• Interact and build relationship with clients and grow the sustainable finance portfolio focused on high impact opportunities within Group Commercial Banking
• Drive the performance and ensure the quality of sustainable finance transactions and subsequent reporting
• Maintain knowledge of most up to date ESG regulations and standards (e.g. ICMA Green Loan Principales, etc.), collaboration with Group Sustainability on the formulation and update of internal approaches and processes, and sharing best practices and ideas

Support sustainability risk management with business transactions * Work closely with Risk & Compliance Officer (RCO) to ensure internal governance and compliance to sustainability related policies incl. Group Sustainability Policy (GSP) and Group Sustainability Financing Policy (GSFP)

• Build sustainability finance competencies and mindset within Commercial Banking working closely with Group Sustainability and GHR

Scope * Support implementation and management of sustainability-related practices activities for Commercial Banking

• Lead and execute sustainability efforts within Group Commercial Banking, working closely with Group Sustainability in addressing concerns and requirements of internal / external stakeholders
