To succeed in this Vice President, Corporate Recovery role, you are required to possess experience in leading a team in corporate recovery for banks.This Vice President, Corporate Recovery role is perfect for someone who thrives in strategising and planning effective approaches towards resolving all Corporate Conventional/Islamic and IHP accounts.What you\'ll do:

  • Formulate and strategise the most effective way to rehabilitate distressed accounts by way of Restructure and Reschedule (R&R) and/or legal means to maximise recovery
  • Negotiate with defaulters to determine the best option for speedy recovery
  • Analyse and evaluate settlement proposals prior to submission for approval
  • Monitor and supervise closely all rehab cases approved for R&R to ensure all key terms and conditions are complied with
  • Liaise effectively and timely with internal & external stakeholders, borrowers and service agents e.g. white knight, solicitors, receiver and manager, private liquidators, etc. to achieve maximum recovery
  • Support Head of Department in providing opportunities for staff career enhancement and improvement of recovery operational level through on-the-job exposure or educating staff in area of understanding debt recovery management
What you bring:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in any discipline
  • At least 15 years\' working experience preferably in the banking industry
  • Minimum of five years\' experience in Debt Recovery
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to formulate effective strategies for debt recovery
  • Experience in analysing settlement proposals
  • Experience in supervising rehab cases
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with various stakeholders
