We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Vice President II - Sales Support to support purchasing and sales activities in the trading of building materials. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially Pivot Tables, to analyse sales & purchasing data and optimize procurement strategies.
Job responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business goals.
Source and negotiate with suppliers for building materials such as cement, steel, tiles, insulation, and other construction-related products.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure cost-effective and quality procurement.
Prepare and analyze sales & procurement reports using Excel Pivot Tables to identify sales performance metrics.
Collaborate with sales, finance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Handle sales admin team and documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
Job qualification:
Proven experience as a Purchasing / Sales Support Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the building materials industry.
3 to 5 years of working experience in construction and building materials.
Strong knowledge of construction materials and market dynamics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with SAP ERP systems.
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
