Marsh Insurance Brokers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Q Sentral, Kuala Lumpur office:

Vice President, Placement (12 Months Contract)

We will count on you to:

• Ensure smooth operation of Risk Management Segment, Corporate Segment and Specialty Practices as well other Reinsurance Placements
• Lead complex placements and advisory of insurance programs while taking charge of overall placement budget for the year
• Identify and formulate business plan strategies to develop new business opportunities for Placement and implement business plan
• Train, develop and mentor Placement colleagues and segment colleagues to achieve full placement capabilities of the firm
• Co-ordinate budgets, forecasts and manage business reports
• Carry out process improvement reviews and execute process improvements for Placement and overall market relationship with underwriters

What you need to have?

• 20 years of relevant experience focusing in Reinsurance Underwriting or Placement for Power & Energy Segment
• Risk Management experience, an understanding of Risk concepts and strong technical knowledge
• Highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in account management and strong professional network.
• Keen eye for details, strong business acumen, demonstrated resilience and resourcefulness.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Points, Outlook)
