Visual Merchandiser - Kuala Lumpur

You will be responsible for managing all visual merchandising matters for all MGP Label retail stores in Malaysia. Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, you will play a key role in shaping MGP Label throughout this hyper expansion phase.

Main responsibilities

• Responsible for conceptualization, development and preparation of visual merchandising stories that reflect the style of each season to maximise sales opportunities within the store.

• Create appealing and eye-catching merchandise displays based on improving customer flow to lead customers through the entire store.

• Produce window displays, signages, interior displays, special promotion displays to drive key messages for marketing/retail activities, campaigns and promotions.

• Responsible for sourcing all materials to execute VM campaigns, ensuring that VM campaigns fall within budget.

• Maintain excellent visual merchandising principles and standards at store levels at all times and ensure excellent customer service at retail. Responsible for training all retail teams in all stores on merchandising principles so that store is well-merchandised at all times.

• Work with retail teams and VM team to develop and improve in-store merchandising guidelines and ensure that it is well-executed.

• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Open to fresh graduates with minimum of STPM/ \'A\' Levels and have a passion for retail and fast fashion

• Past experience working for a fashion/retail store will be a plus

• Extremely customer-centric and genuinely enjoys serving and getting to know customers better

• Positive, energetic and friendly demeanor

• Strong communication skills and ideally bilingual in both English and Mandarin

• Collaborative team player

• Open to working various shifts and able to work 6 days a week (including weekends and public holidays)
