A Visual Merchandiser (Sports/Lifestyle) job has become available at a rapidly expanding sports retailer in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Visual Merchandiser (Sports/Lifestyle) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for generating sales through creative retail displays that capture buyer attention, with the goal of providing an excellent in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy
• Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store
• Produce window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays
• Identify key messages and set a clear image of the end results
• Proactively participate in inventory management functions for the success of the overall merchandising effort
• Source and purchase goods and services related to merchandising for retail for the company according to its allocated budget

To succeed in this Visual Merchandiser (Sports/Lifestyle) role, you must ensure that visual appearances of stores are maintained to the highest standards at all times.

Key Requirements:

• At least three years of visual merchandising experience in the retail industry
• A strong sense of colour, collocation, and design trends
• Fashion design, art or other related majors
• Good knowledge of local customer preferences and able to provide some reasonable suggestions
