About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • To continually scan the marketplace for new prospects and opportunities to capitalize as appropriate for East Malaysia regions
  • To prepare and make presentations to identified prospects for mandate closure.
  • Ensure a profitable proposition by way of a competitive pricing structure and generation of a strong and sustainable revenue stream. This will include the demonstration of a comprehensive business case for the solution, defining product feature functionality and bottom-line impact.
  • Continually monitor customer requirements to ensure first opportunity to meet expectations and requirements.
  • To carry responsibility over a pool of accounts for relationship building and cross-selling activities.
  • Manage existing customer base with business units to further deepen cash wallet share and cross sell cash management products.
  • Contribute to the delivery of financial results both in respect of revenues and liabilities target
  • Together with the Product Management Team, plan new product launches to ensure that new products and services meet planned revenue and volumes projections.
Job Requirements
  • A recognised Degree in any Business
  • Matured and highly motivated individuals with a passion for and a desire to have a career in product sales
  • Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to articulate himself/herself well against various levels of target audience
  • Strong local contacts and the ability to speak local dialects is an advantage
  • Candidates with 6 or more years of experience from Transaction Banking - Cash Management or digital payment related experience preferred.
