About the Department
The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.
Personal Financial Services
We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.
Job Responsibilities
Ensures effectiveness of the risk and control environment of the KYC operations and Name Screening function, as well as governance
Creates and maintains the interface between the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Ops function and other control functions that impact the Business (namely Transaction Monitoring, Payment Screening) and ensures regular reporting of operational metrics
Identify the risk-related gaps across business processes, business units, and develop training materials to increase the level of awareness or suggest recommendations to close the gaps
Continually seeks to improve the operational effectiveness, efficiency, and quality standards
Stays informed of existing, emerging /new risks around financial crime and provides recommendations on appropriate control measures and performance/productivity improvement
implementing process improvement recommendations and procedural updates derived from changes to policy, technology adoption, process enhancements and remediation of control weaknesses / gaps
Ensure alignment and adoption of AML/CFT and operation risk management (ORM) policies & procedures to manage / mitigate risks
Review and ensure the accuracy and governance of department\'s SOPs
Perform risk assessment and monitoring through ORM Programs ie: Key Risk and Control Self-Assessment (KRCSA), AML Control Self-Assessment (AMLCSA), Outsourcing, Key Operational Risk Indicators (KORI), Management Risk Awareness (MRA) and Incident Reporting
Job Requirements
Experience in data analysis and problem solving with acute attention to detail.
Demonstrated organizational and follow-up skills; ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a high-volume environment.
Excellent time management skills, effective communication skills (written and verbal) and proven analytical/problem solving abilities.
Preferably well versed in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic for Applications and SQL (Structured Query Language).
Bachelor\'s/University degree or equivalent experience
