This financial services company is going through a process improvement phase and this VP of Rewards, Performance and HR Operations job is vital to be part of the transformation journey in making sure the sustenance and optimisation of HR operations as well coverage in performance management and total rewards.

About the VP of Rewards, Performance and HR Operations Role:
The job involves overseeing the administration of compensation and benefits programs to guarantee that employees\' performance is evaluated, and to create and maintain a connection between performance management and rewards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies for rewards, performance management, and HR operations (including transactions and payroll) that align with company\'s overall strategic direction
  • Set appropriate targets and proactively manage actual performance against targets within the rewards, performance management, and transactions unit
  • Advise senior management on compensation, benefits, performance management, and HR operations trends and best practices
  • Ensure that the business unit establishes suitable performance measures and competency targets for employees
  • Keep up-to-date with market best practices and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of compensation, benefits, and performance management programs, particularly in light of the digitalisation of HR practices
  • Ensure that compensation, benefits, and performance management programs are administered uniformly throughout the organisation
  • Develop suitable tools for managing employee performance
  • Take the lead in moderating performance ratings against biases and other issues
  • Ensure that the compensation, benefits, and performance management function complies with all of the company\'s policies and procedures
  • Lead the review of HR policies and processes, including the digitalisation of forms, documents, and processes
To succeed in this VP of Rewards, Performance and HR Operations role, you will need to have strong people, analytical and report writing skills, as well as good interpersonal skills with an ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of a degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Communication, Operations Management, or any related fields
  • At least eight years of experience in the human resources field
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous
  • Good understanding of the Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act 1967
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
