Job Description

Greeting and Seating Guests:



Warmly welcome guests upon their arrival at the restaurant. Usher guests to their tables, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, adhering to the restaurant's seating policies.

Menu Presentation and Recommendations:



Present menus to guests and provide detailed descriptions of dishes, specials, and beverages. Offer recommendations based on guests' preferences, dietary restrictions, and the restaurant's signature dishes. Have a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer any questions confidently.

Taking Orders and Serving:



Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Serve meals and beverages to guests professionally and courteously, following established service standards.

Customer Engagement and Satisfaction:



Proactively engage with guests to ensure a personalized and memorable dining experience. Anticipate guests' needs and address any concerns or special requests promptly and effectively. Respond to feedback and inquiries with professionalism and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.

Table Maintenance and Cleanliness:



Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout service hours. Set up and clear tables efficiently, following proper service protocols and etiquettes. Ensure tableware, glassware, and utensils are clean and polished for each guest.

Upselling and Revenue Generation:



Promote additional menu items, specials, and beverage pairings to enhance guests' dining experiences. Encourage guests to indulge in dessert offerings, after-dinner drinks, or other premium options to increase revenue. Demonstrate product knowledge and enthusiasm to encourage upselling opportunities.

Team Collaboration:



Collaborate effectively with other team members, including servers, hosts/hostesses, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure seamless operations. Communicate guest preferences, special requests, and feedback to relevant team members for optimal service delivery.
