Job Description


  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on providing high-quality service to customers.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Greet customers as they enter the establishment and assist them with seating arrangements.
  • Provide menus and answer any questions regarding menu items, specials, or promotions.
  • Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff promptly.
  • Manage reservations, including recording bookings, confirming reservations, and preparing seating arrangements if applicable
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely service for reserved tables.
  • Set up and arrange tables and chairs according to the seating plan and ensure they are clean and presentable.
  • Monitor tables throughout service to ensure they are cleared and reset promptly after each customer leaves.
  • Assist with bussing tables, removing used dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, or requests promptly and professionally.
  • Anticipate the needs of customers and provide attentive service to enhance their dining experience.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to the floor manager or supervisor immediately.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other floor staff to ensure seamless coordination during service.
  • Wipe all washed cutleries and glasses and keep at station all time.
