Job Title: Restaurant Waiter / Waitress

Responsibilities:

Customer Services

Greet and seat customers with a friendly demeanor. Take and deliver customer orders accurately and promptly.

Menu Knowledge:

Have a thorough understanding of the menu items. Provide recommendations and answer customer questions.

Order Accuracy:

Ensure orders are accurate and meet customer specifications. Double-check orders before delivering to tables.

Communication:

Effectively communicate with kitchen staff and other servers. Relay customer feedback and special requests to the kitchen.

Upselling:

Suggest additional items or specials to enhance the dining experience. Promote desserts, drinks, or other upsell opportunities.

Table Maintenance:

Monitor and maintain cleanliness of tables and dining area. Set up and reset tables efficiently.

Billing and Payments:

Present bills to customers and process payments accurately. Handle cash transactions and provide correct change.

Teamwork:

Collaborate with kitchen and fellow servers to ensure smooth operations. Assist colleagues when needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a server or in customer service is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of menu items and ingredients. Positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.
