Job Title: Warehouse Assistant Manager ?????? - Food Manufacturing (FMCG)

Key Responsibilities:

Reports to Warehouse Manager and assist the manager, in supervising all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of food products and ingredients. To handle container (inbound & outbound) arrangements. Ensure all materials are handled and stored according to food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001, Halal, VHM, 5S). To ensure FIFO for every material issued to the Production Department. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, batch numbers, and expiry dates using inventory management systems. Coordinate closely with the Production, Quality Department, R&D and Purchasing to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. Train and manage warehouse staff in day-to-day operations, safe handling of food products and compliance with cleanliness protocols. Conduct regular audits to maintain food safety compliance and inventory accuracy. Implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize space utilization, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure a safe and clean work environment. Able to hands on to ensure operation is running smoothly whenever needed.

Job Requirements:

Possess at least a

Degree/Diploma/Certificate

in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or related field. Minimum

2-3 years

of relevant warehouse experience, preferably in a

food

manufacturing / FMCG

environment. Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in the food manufacturing / FMCG/ health food supplement industry. Able to speak, read and write in Bahasa Malaysia & English. Capable of leading a team of Foreign Worker. Familiar with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP inventory modules. Knowledge in AutoCount system will be an added advantage. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Able to operate forklifts or reach trucks (with valid license is an advantage). Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced setting. Prefer Mandarin speaker to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. Possess own transport and valid B2 or D license. Strong understanding of food safety standards and warehouse best practices. Able to perform additional duties when necessary.

Work Environment:

Warehouse and production facility environment with exposure to cold storage areas. Fast-paced, compliance-driven setting requiring adherence to hygiene and safety protocols. May involve lifting, operating forklifts, and working extended hours during peak periods.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
