Job Description

To support and assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, inventory accuracy, timely material movement, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Warehouse Operations Management

Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. Ensure smooth material flow to production and timely delivery to customers. Monitor warehouse layout, space utilization, and housekeeping (5S).

2. Inventory Control

Ensure accurate stock levels through cycle counts, stock checks, and reconciliation. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Maintain real-time inventory updates in ERP/WMS systems.

3. Team Leadership & Coordination

Supervise warehouse supervisors, leaders, and operators. Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations to develop a high-performing team. Plan manpower allocation according to operational needs.

4. Safety, Compliance & Quality

Enforce safety policies, SOPs, and compliance with OSHA/DOSH regulations. Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of materials (including hazardous goods if applicable). Support safety audits, quality inspections, and certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 45001).

5. Process Improvement

Identify bottlenecks and improve warehouse workflow efficiency. Implement lean practices, automation tools, and cost-saving initiatives. Work with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Production, Planning, QC) to optimize processes.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports (inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, warehouse efficiency). Ensure documentation accuracy for inbound/outbound shipments, GRN, and stock adjustments. Assist in preparing audit documents and KPI reports for management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. 5-8 years of warehouse experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/assistant manager role. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and WMS/ERP systems. Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Forklift license or knowledge of MHE (Material Handling Equipment) is an advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and physical activity. May require shift work or weekend support depending on operations. Required to use PPE as per safety regulations.

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
