Job Description

Job Synopsis:

To support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking and distributing goods. This involves tasks like unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Warehouse assistants also contribute to stock control and may operate machinery like forklifts or reach truck after training.

Core Responsibilities:

A. Receiving and Storage

1. Unloading deliveries from trucks and other vehicles.

2. Checking the quantity and quality of incoming items.

3. Sorting and organizing received goods.

4. Storing items in designated locations within the warehouse.

5. Maintaining accurate inventory records.

B. Order Fulfillment

1. Picking items from shelves according to picking lists.

2. Packing items securely for shipment.

3. Preparing orders for dispatch.

4. Ensuring all orders are fulfilled accurately on time.

General Warehouse Duties

1. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

2. Ensuring aisles and storage areas are free of hazards.

3. Operating forklifts and reach truck and other warehouse machinery (may require training).

4. Adhering to safety regulations and procedures.

5. Assisting with stock counts and inventory audits.

6. Involve assisting with loading and unloading trucks.

Requirements:

Possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM At least 1- 2 years of relevant Warehouse experience. Ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy item Ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly. Experience or willingness to learn to operate warehouse equipment. Strong attention to detail and numbers

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
