The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. This role ensures proper documentation, accurate stock levels, and smooth coordination with production and logistics teams to support efficient bakery operations.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Inventory & Stock Control
Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels of raw materials and packaging materials.
Conduct daily stock checks and assist in monthly physical inventory count.
Ensure FEFO/ FIFO practices are followed for all ingredients and finished goods.
Update stock movement in the system promptly and accurately.
B. Receiving & Issuing
Coordinate receiving of incoming goods, verify quantity and quality against delivery orders.
Ensure proper labeling and storage based on material type and temperature requirement (chiller / freezer / dry store).
Issue raw materials and packaging to production according to daily production schedule.
C. Warehouse Operations
Organize warehouse layout to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards.
Coordinate with production team for timely material replenishment.
Maintain records of batch numbers, expiry dates, and traceability documentation.
Monitor warehouse temperature, pest control checks, and housekeeping.
D. Documentation & System Updates
Prepare daily stock reports, receiving reports, and issuance records.
Update ERP/Excel system for all material movements.
Assist in preparing warehouse-related documents for audits (GMP, HACCP, ISO).
E. Coordination & Communication
Liaise closely with purchasing team to follow up on material delivery schedules.
Communicate with production and QA teams on stock status, quality issues, or shortages.
Coordinate outbound loading for finished goods when required.
3. Requirements
Female candidate preferred
(due to job nature and team arrangement).
At least
1-3 years
of working experience in warehousing or inventory.
Experience in
food manufacturing / bakery industry
is an added advantage.
Able to work in cold room/storage environment when required.
Good communication skills, organized, and detail-oriented.
Basic knowledge of ERP or inventory systems.
Able to work independently and handle documentation accurately.
