Job Description

To ensure the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods while maintaining professional interactions with clients, adhering to road safety regulations, and upholding the company's operational and service standards.

Key Role Responsibilities:

Perform pre-shift checks on assigned vehicle. Safely load vehicle with goods for delivery. Complete all deliveries or tasks as assigned by the superior. Update delivery status on the TMS system (when implemented), including Proof of Delivery for completed or failed deliveries. Communicate any failed deliveries or discrepancies to the Branch Manager or Business Support Administrator. Return for additional delivery runs as needed. Interact professionally with clients at all times. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle; wash as necessary. Schedule vehicle service or repairs when required. Ensure the vehicle is secured when not in use. Adhere to safe and legal driving practices, complying with relevant traffic regulations. Wear full company uniform while on duty and representing the organization. Report any vehicle defects immediately to the relevant manager or supervisor)
