Successful candidates will gain valuable experience in the medical device industry, which could craft career decisions and build future employment opportunities.What will you be doing?Work closely with managers to complete specifically identified projects.Present project conclusions to senior leadership.Perform direct observation, data collection, and data analysis to build a capacity model representing the different processes at the warehouse.Conduct work studies to analyze and recommend opportunities to improve overall efficiency.Assist the warehouse team with audits, 5S, and other Kaizen effortsWhat will you need to be successful?The candidate must be currently enrolled at an accredited university as an undergraduate majoring in Industrial Engineering, Warehousing and Logistics, or a similar discipline. Excellent academic standing is required, with a GPA of 3.0 preferred.The ideal candidate should work independently with minimal mentorship and demonstrate proactiveness in completing tasks. They should quickly comprehend observations and translate data into presentable information, clearly articulate and present ideas, and exhibit strong communication skills, including technical writing, listening, and speaking. High learning agility, the ability to analyze and synthesize data, and effective project management and leadership experience are essential. They must optimally connect with cross-functional teams, drive project completion, and possess strong time management and interpersonal skills to manage tight deadlines and multifaceted business growth.You.
