Warehouse & Logistics Team Leader

Reports to:

Distribution & Inventory Manager, SEA

Purpose of the Role

The Warehouse & Logistics Team Leader is responsible for ensuring efficient logistics operations across the SEA region, including warehousing and domestic distribution. The role supports ongoing logistics optimization to meet company and customer requirements, delivering high operational performance in line with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Distribution Operations

Supervise inbound and outbound shipment activities to ensure timely delivery that meets production schedules and business requirements. Ensure efficient daily operations through effective management of all logistics activities. Source, develop, and optimize outbound logistics routing to reduce lead time and freight costs. Monitor and control premium freight usage. Review and validate freight invoices and ensure timely submission to Finance for on-time payment. Manage 3PL performance in both warehouse and logistics operations. Support business operations by improving IDA performance.

Warehouse Management

Monitor overall warehouse performance to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Oversee space utilization and warehouse location management within acceptable standards. Conduct regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Oversee maintenance of warehouse infrastructure. Ensure safe warehouse operations and compliance with safety procedures. Lead 5S implementation and continuous tracking.

Regional & Cross-Functional Support

Collaborate with APAC and global logistics teams as required. Perform any additional duties assigned by the superior.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience & Competencies

Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management and/or third-party warehouse operations with a proven track record. Strong capability in defining logistics requirements and developing strategies to achieve business objectives. Proactive, results-oriented, and skilled in problem-solving with strong initiative. Excellent interpersonal skills including listening, influencing, written and verbal communication in English, and presentation skills. Strong people leadership with the ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally. Ability to work independently, highly self-motivated, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
