Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and system-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring efficient material flow, high inventory accuracy, and strong alignment between warehouse execution and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

Candidates with hands-on MES experience and exposure to AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) or warehouse automation systems will have a strong advantage, as the company continues to advance digitalization and smart manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, kitting, and dispatch. Define and enforce clear material classification standards (Raw Material, WIP, Finished Goods, Reject, Scrap). Ensure strict compliance with FIFO, lot traceability, labeling, and location control. Release materials to production accurately and timely based on MES system instructions.

2. MES & System Integration

Ensure all warehouse transactions are executed accurately in

MES / ERP / WMS systems

. Maintain strong alignment between physical material flow and system transactions. Work closely with IT and Engineering teams to improve MES material logic, routing, and work instructions. Support MES-related audits, data accuracy, and system governance.

3. AGV & Warehouse Automation Support (Advantage)

Support warehouse material movement using AGV or automated material handling systems, where applicable. Coordinate AGV routes, staging areas, and handover points with production lines. Participate in AGV feasibility studies, warehouse layout planning, and automation projects. Ensure warehouse processes are designed to be automation-ready and scalable.

4. Inventory & Material Control

Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counting and stock audits. Monitor and manage slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory. Ensure material traceability in compliance with quality and customer requirements. Manage material issuing methods (full pack, exact quantity, kitted supply).

5. Process Improvement & Standardization

Optimize warehouse layout, storage methods, and material flow to reduce handling and lead time. Drive 5S, lean warehouse, and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities to improve operational efficiency.

6. People Management

Lead, train, and develop warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, and operators. Plan manpower allocation and shift arrangements based on production demand. Enforce safety standards, discipline, and standard operating procedures (SOP).

7. Compliance & Cross-Functional Coordination

Ensure compliance with ISO standards, EHS requirements, and company policies. Work closely with Production, PMC, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics teams. Ensure material readiness to support production schedules aligned with MES planning.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related disciplines. Minimum 5-8 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role. Experience in manufacturing / EMS / electronics industry is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and manufacturing material flow. Hands-on experience with MES systems in a production-support environment. Exposure to AGV systems, warehouse automation, or smart warehouse concepts is a strong advantage. Familiar with FIFO, lot traceability, barcode systems, and 5S practices. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Language Proficiency

Proficient in English and Chinese (Mandarin), with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, daily operations, and written documentation.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
